K9 Search and Rescue / K9 SAR
Since 2007, we have been organising voluntary trainings, seminars and exams to help people in need, with live casualty searches in wreckage, lost searches in nature and mantrailing.
Our dogs are not only our friends, but we also want them to help us when we need them.
When we say this, many people think of jobs such as protection or hunting, but we want our dogs to aspire to more important tasks when necessary.
Search and Rescue Dogs are K9s that have been used for humanitarian purposes in recent history.
After being used to locate the wounded in world wars, dogs started to be trained for more useful tasks. This was the first step in their transformation from weapons to helpers.
Afterwards, they evolved into wonderful friends that even the most technological devices still cannot replace, such as finding people trapped under avalanches, rescuing drowning people, searching for missing people and locating live people under rubble.

Search dogs were also used in criminal matters with tracking, cadaver and mantrailing dogs.
Within the scope of the social responsibility project, the main subject we work intensively by reaching talented dogs with various methods is debris search dogs.
The fact that most of our country is under the risk of earthquake and that we still have not reached a sufficient number of accredited dogs has a share in this.
With the support of dog owners, NGOs and official institutions, we carry out joint studies on certain days and prepare search and rescue dogs for the exams of institutions such as AFAD and IRO.
Doing our part to transfer the experience and lessons we have learnt from referees and trainers from different countries in the past years to more people is also a way of loyalty for us thanks to the respect we have gained for our dogs.
Because without them, we don't exist.
